As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine tours, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will also support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and a teamwork-first approach grounded in integrity, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or operational issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document deliveries, vehicle activity, and other site-related interactions as required.
• Support a manufacturing and industrial location by observing equipment areas, restricted spaces, and high-traffic work zones for policy compliance and potential concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
