What this job involves –
Oversee and coordinate the activities of the regional handyman team, ensuring efficient workload distribution.
Your day to day:
● Develop work schedules and assign tasks based on team members' skills and project requirements.
● Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to team members.
● Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve team effectiveness.
● Lead team meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
● Monitor quality of work performed by team members and implement quality control measures.
● Manage team resources, including tools, equipment, and supplies across regional locations.
● Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures throughout the regional team.
● Serve as the point of contact between management and the handyman team for escalated issues.
● Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.

● Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role, preferably in a commercial or business setting.
● Strong knowledge and experience in multiple areas such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance.
● Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
● Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
● Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
● Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
● Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma
● Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
● Flexibility and positive attitude in managing shifting daily priorities and high volume of guests.
