Summary of Job Description:

The Finance Manager acts as a trusted advisor to Commercial leadership, delivering financial insights, anticipating challenges, and shaping strategic decisions across a diverse geography spanning Canada, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. This role provides exposure to senior management and the opportunity to drive meaningful impact across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Planning & Decision Support

• Lead integration of financial forecasts (Plan, LBE, LRP) from affiliates, ensuring assumptions and submissions are robust, consistent, and aligned with International HQ and Global Commercial Finance.
• Analyze financial trends, validate drivers, and challenge inputs to enhance forecast accuracy. Deliver scenario analysis and ad-hoc forecasts to support business initiatives and commercial priorities.

Compliance & Governance Support

• Oversee Intercontinental HQ budget planning, monitoring, and reporting.
• Coordinate submissions for SOX, headcount, and capital reporting, ensuring compliance with global requirements.
• Support capital investment requests from affiliates as needed, ensuring alignment with governance standards.

Supporting Medical Strategy & Investments

• Manage financial reporting for total Intercontinental Medical spend.
• Track spending for clinical studies and projects, ensuring proper monitoring and transparency.
• Prepare narratives and reporting packages for medical leadership and ad-hoc project support.
