Commercial Tire & Road Service Technician

Pay: $18–$26/hour
McCarthy Tire Service is hiring a Commercial Tire & Road Service Technician to join our Rochester team. This hands-on position includes shop and roadside tire service. We’re looking for a dependable, safety-focused technician who takes pride in quality work and customer service.
Responsibilities:

• Mount, dismount, repair, rotate, and balance commercial truck tires
• Perform tire inspections and preventative maintenance
• Provide roadside and emergency tire service
• Safely operate company service vehicles
• Maintain service records and communicate with customers and team members
• Participate in training and on-call/after-hours service as needed
• Assist with other shop and service duties

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Commercial/heavy-duty tire or road service experience preferred
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy tires and equipment
• Authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of commercial tires and equipment
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments
