mmary/Objective
The Business Analyst acts as a technical liaison between an operating unit and IT. The position assists in the definition, creation, testing and implementation of business applications targeted at providing solutions for Operations and external clients.
Activities include project planning, designing of system enhancements, testing and the implementation of systems to ensure goals and objectives of projects are met.

1. Provides a single point of contact for Operating Unit into IT and acts as a conduit between the two organizations.
2. Leads Business Process Modeling sessions, acting as a documentarian, co-facilitator, facilitator, and/or subject matter expert in sketch sessions.
3. Collaborates consistently with warehouse floor to understand requirements and systematic changes to enhance service, efficiency, and quality.
4. Conducts preliminary investigation for all project requests. Review’s and elicit requirements, specifications, test, support, and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects.
5. Participates in Business Process Management group efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes owned by the group.
6. Participates in root cause analysis to recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the Operating Unit and IT.
7. Acts as Product Owner and maintains priority and traceability of requirements from concept to delivery of a project.
8. Participates in Scrum meetings and product sprints
9. Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
10. Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
11. Ability to identify and document change request and escalate appropriately.
12. Ability to manage multiple projects

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree
· 2 to 5 years of related work experience
