As an analyst on the Digital Business Capabilities team, you will be...

• Working with others across product areas to craft and validate ideas for digital capabilities that bring together customer needs, emerging technology, financial trends and Fidelity’s enterprise goals.
• Aligning our critical business capability platforms against key digital efforts across the firm.
• Working between technology, architecture and leadership to make and communicate key decisions about the role of our platforms.
• Working across teams to align outcomes and deliver a cohesive customer experience across products and channels.
• Bring the voice of the customer to your team using both qualitative customer insights and quantitative customer data.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 8 years overall work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 6 years with a Master's Degree
• 5 years of experience in an analyst, engineer, or technical product owner role.
• Comfortable with the role and design of RESTful APIs and digital platforms.
• Personal investing account opening experience or experience onboarding a customer to a new account is a plus.
• Fundamental understanding of the technical architecture of web and mobile applications, and may have direct experience working on developer tooling, APIs, SDKs, and application ecosystems.
• Impactful communication and presentation skills, both to influence and educate business partners.
• Comfort with using data to make decisions using SQL skills, Tableau or other data tools.
• Familiarity with integration testing using Postman or Insomnia, and observability tools such as Datadog and Splunk.
• Experience with technical writing and documentation using tools like Confluence and Swagger.

The team is building a world-class business capability platform to drive our most modern digital customer and associate experiences. The focus of the platform is to provide core capabilities around managing accounts, moving money, and rationalizing customer data.

Fidelity’s working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
