Clinical Care Supervisor

Sunset Senior Communities provides exceptional care to our residents with a focus on creating a welcoming and supportive environment. We are seeking a compassionate LPN to be our first shift supervisor to lead our resident care team at our Sunset Manor and Village campus. 

As the Clinical Care Supervisor, you will be a vital part of our commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents. Key responsibilities include facilitating and coordinating resident care.  Providing leadership to our team of caregivers, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care and attention. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and oversee resident care needs by the clinical team. 
• Initiate and update resident care plans, assist with discharges and admissions, assist with complicated clinical needs of residents, assist with medication pass and treatments. 
• Assist with care conferences; leading them when needed.
• Assist with ongoing Quality Assurance Program for the clinical department.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team, fostering a positive environment.

This position is full-time, 40 hours a week, 9 am to 5 pm (can be flexible), and requires every other weekend.

Requirements

Minimum of a license from the state of Michigan as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Experience in a care facility preferred. Some supervisory experience or equivalent in health care.
