Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Excel-based financial and operational reports each week, month, and quarter.
• Prepare and analyze monthly profit and loss statements.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including monthly inventory close.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts, budgets, and financial plans.
• Review financial performance, identify significant variances, and communicate their operational impact to management.
• Analyze food, beverage, material, inventory, labor, and other operating costs.
• Partner closely with Production, Culinary, Procurement, and operation departments to assess costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate inventory levels, usage, and monthly closing balances.
• Track waste management performance and recommend cost-reduction opportunities.
• Analyze financial data and recommend actions to improve efficiency and maximize profitability.
• Monitor purchases, expenses, payroll, sales, and payments for accuracy and compliance.
• Support cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition activities.
• Maintain effective internal controls over revenues, assets, and liabilities.
• Ensure financial records and accounts follow consistent accounting procedures.
• Prepare, review, and present timely and accurate financial reports and budgets.
• Evaluate departmental performance and recommend operational adjustments to support organizational goals.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments, clients, vendors, banks, auditors, and affiliated companies. Partner with management to identify and address financial risks and operational concerns.
• Contribute to corporate planning by developing and supporting departmental action plans.
• Take initiative in investigating financial discrepancies and identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Support special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial analysis, or related areas.
• Experience in hospitality, catering, food service, manufacturing, or another high-volume operational environment is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience preparing and analyzing complex reports required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision or a comparable accounting system is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Advanced mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across departments.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, as well as consistent follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism, tact, and discretion.

• Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually.
