The hands-on Facilities Manager has a direct impact on improving the lives of our Residents, Team Members and families through ensuring our support teams are functioning at their highest levels. The Facilities Manager will ensure cleanliness, communication, timely repairs, and training to improve the overall environment.  This position partners will all facilities leaders, front line Team Members and is supported directly by the facility Administrator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform the same work you expect your team to perform, excelling in process improvement and effectively using the resources required
• Actively rounds, audits and inspects to ensure compliance with safety regulations, keeping our Team, Residents and families safe
• Responsible for leadership of maintenance and environmental services teams including housekeeping, janitorial, custodial and maintenance
• Ensure cleaning and repair of building areas, resident rooms, facility equipment and general facility maintenance is completed as scheduled and assigned
• Tracking and recording of  information supporting an effective team and results utilizing various Microsoft Office products and other programs and tools
• Continue your knowledge and share your knowledge of proper disinfection and cleaning principles and requirements; Establish and maintain proper chemical, equipment usage and labor requirements for cleaning and maintenance of all areas; and Ensure processes are executed according to all current regulatory requirements
• Initiate supply orders, store and manage inventory for appropriate levels and develop processes for storage areas which are well  organized
• Effectively operate and continually educate Team Members on all necessary equipment
