As an Account Manager I within PNC's BIN Sponsorship Team, you will be based within the PNC footprint.

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our BIN Sponsorship Team. This is not a typical sales role, but rather a relationship-focused position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client -facing/customer service and account management with project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Additionally, candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The Account Manager I responsibilities are the following:

• Assist with relationship management of BIN sponsorship clients
• Assist with sales of new BIN sponsorship clients – intake, vetting, screening and onboarding
• Tracking of client reporting, daily and monthly
• MC2 documentation of client issues, escalations, and requests.
• Assist with upkeep of procedures and other documents relative to Relationship Management
• Performing pre legal review of all client applications and agreements
• Tracking of client document refresh dates
• Follow up on complaint escalations with clients to ensure timely responses
• Assist with client’s due diligence collection both annually and items require refresh
• Attend various meetings and assist with tracking of issues and follow up items as needed
• Act as a support role for the Relationship Manager and handle tasks as assigned.

*This position requires availability during Central Time business hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (CT).

Job Description

  • Under direct supervision, works in support of assigned long-term client relationships. Provides sales or consultative support to clients and serves as the liaison between clients and operational servicing units. May participate in pricing and resource discussions and in developing the scope of service provided to existing and potential clients.
  • Serves as point of contact for client matters. May help identify and develop new servicing opportunities with existing clients to build and maintain a long-lasting relationship. Utilizes basic industry and PNC knowledge to inform customers of appropriate products/services, rates, and other opportunities.
  • Involved in negotiating servicing agreements and servicing fees for existing clients if contract modifications are needed. Will work with in-house counsel and clients on contract negotiations. This includes the review of the servicing agreements to ensure contract terms meet servicing guidelines.
  • Analyzes, assesses and documents client requirements. Forecasts and tracks key account metrics May identify customization needs, and work with service partners to implement.
  • Supports processes outlined in the contract and independently resolves challenges regarding implementation and production issues. Works towards finding the best solution to maintain a positive client relationship.
