For our Business Unit Offshore, we are looking for a Competent Technician (f/m/d) for Installation.

These are your main functions:

• Your main focus and responsibility is the installation of offshore wind turbines worldwide (EU, US and APAC) 
• You perform, supervise, train and ensure safety cultures and behaviors within installation of offshore wind turbines and work closely together with EHS
• You keep and maintain accurate logbooks, documentation and reports as required by company policy
• You supervise and conduct the training of new colleagues / 3rd party employees
• You prepare transition piece, tools, equipment and components during loadout and installation, as well as perform snagging during installation
• You ensure that work is conducted according to the defined workflow and work instructions
• You act as signaler in accordance with work instructions, checklists and lift plans
• You lead small teams
• Your living place is in Western Europe, but it is not relevant where, as you're working offshore around the globe.

What you need to make a difference:

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

• You successfully completed an apprenticeship as technician (e.g. electrical, mechanical, mechatronics)
• You gained a sound working experience within the wind-industry; in the best case in the offshore environment covering all aspects of the entire installation and commissioning phase
• You are willing and able to work offshore in shift patterns and you have the ability to transfer with helicopter or small transfer vessels for crew change to work offshore
• You are willing to travel for training purposes
• You have the ability to manage administrative tasks in a structural and self-dependent manner
• You like to work in multinational teams by bringing strong intercultural skills along
• You are able to communicate (speaking and writing) in English
