They work closely with the development team, translating the Segment Leader and Product Manager’s vision into actionable user stories. They communicate the execution of demands that support the product vision and strategy to our stakeholders, customers, and scrum team(s). They are accountable for maximizing the value of our development team(s), focusing on backlog management, prioritization, and clearly defined acceptance criteria. Product Owners help make decisions about product features and are available to assist the scrum teams and stakeholders with priority and product development questions.</p> <p> </p> <p> <b>Job Responsibilities:</b> </p> <ul> <li>Maintains a strong understanding of the portfolio strategy</li> <li>Cleary define and maintain the product backlog in alignment with the product strategy</li> <li>Ensure the backlog is transparent and understood by all stakeholders</li> <li>Ensure that all epics and features have quantifiable business value </li> <li>Prioritize backlog items to maximize the value of the development team</li> <li>Clarify epic and user story requirements and answer team questions</li> <li>Create clear and testable acceptance criteria for each epic and user story</li> <li>Manage user story size to ensure they can be accomplished in a single sprint</li> <li>Participate in scrum team ceremonies (grooming, planning, review, retrospectives)  </li> <li>Validate business value and delivery of high-quality, working software </li> <li>Facilitate the sprint review and demo; ensure sprint goals are accomplished</li> <li>Communicate team commitments and accomplishments to the segment leader, stakeholders, and customers</li> <li>Explore innovative ways to improve team processes and code quality</li> <li>Capable of working independent of Product Manager </li> <li>Actively involved in product management activities; assists Product Manager in planning</li> <li>Monitors demand driver budget and reports risks to leadership</li> <li>Provides guidance and mentorship to other Product Owners</li> <li>Maintains deep payments industry knowledge </li> <li>Provides solution-level direction across agile teams </li> <li>Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> <b>Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required for the job: </b> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in software development</li> <li>Ten years of related work experience</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>  <b>Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience needed for the job: </b> </p> <ul> <li>Excellent leadership, facilitation, and organizational skills</li> <li>Demonstrates str
