What you’ll be doing: 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the visual design strategy and execution for Preply's marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the marketing teams to create visually compelling and cohesive designs that enhance the user experience and drive engagement. A key focus of this role will be managing the design team's workload effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

• Support and lead the graphic designers in creating visually appealing and on-brand graphics for various marketing campaigns, including social media, email, web, and print materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain design guidelines to ensure a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Manage the design team's workload, ensuring efficient distribution of tasks and timely completion of projects.
• Conduct regular design reviews to ensure high-quality standards and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas and technologies into the design process.
• Work with external vendors and freelancers as needed to support design projects.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and similar tools.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a passion for creativity and innovation.
