Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Levico Terme (TN)

Senior Mechanical Designer - Industrial Machinery is the role that contributes to the development of new products and customized systems, working both independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams, with the goal of meeting customer requirements while ensuring the predefined quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

•  Independently design machines or parts of them based on functional specifications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development.

Activities

• Mechanical design of machines and functional groups using 2D and 3D CAD.
• Analysis and sizing (also through dedicated software).
• Research, selection, and possible study of integration of mechanical and mechatronic components.
• Sharing project specifications and objectives within multi-functional teams (electrical design, software, and technologies);
• In-depth analysis and improvement of design choices.

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/mechatronics and 3 to 5 years' experience in the mechanical design of contract machinery and industrial plants, preferably CNC; 
• Proficiency in the use of 2D and 3D Cad; 
• Good command of the English language (B1 or higher);
• Openness to discussion and dialogue; 
• Problem-solving orientation, critical thinking and capacity for innovation aimed at researching and testing technical solutions. 

Nice to have

• Knowledge of 3D CAD software (Inventor, Solid Edge, Solidworks);
• Knowledge of FEM software (Ansys);
• Knowledge of automation and NC/PLC machine operation logic;
• Fluidic design and pneumatic schematic drafting skills;
• Knowledge of 2D CAD software (Draftsight, Autocad);
