About the position
The Marketing Assistant role plays a pivotal role in Europe and Pacific Developed markets (EPDM) zone team. The position lies within the Growth HQ of the EPDM Zone and is located in our office in Amsterdam. The position reports into the Heinz Brand Lead for EPDM.
As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a central role in supporting the Heinz EPDM Brand Team’s campaigns and projects. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience across brand marketing, category management, insights, and creative execution. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and our in-house agency, The Kitchen, gaining broad exposure to the full marketing process.
In brief, you are responsible for:
Support campaign management from creative ideation through to tracking deliverables, working closely with the project lead and agency partners
Track brand performance and analyze results in partnership with the insights team
Own and manage campaign budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
Coordinate internal communications to keep stakeholders updated on project progress
Organize and maintain project documentation and handle day-to-day administrative tasks
Proactively contribute ideas to enhance campaign effectiveness and team efficiency
Qualifications
Must haves
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Comfortable working with data and basic analytics
Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn
Experience with MS Office and project management tools is a plus
Pro-active & Can-do mentality.
