Server - Republic Gastropub

Republic Gastropub brings a modern edge to the traditional gastropub experience. Located in the heart of Classen Curve. With 100 beers on tap and a bold, high-energy atmosphere, Republic is a go-to spot for everything from casual dinners to big game days. We're looking for Servers who bring great energy, teamwork and Extreme Hospitality to every table.

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each server’s primary goal is to give every guest such a memorable experience that they’ll want to return again and again. This is achieved through A Good Egg Dining Group's mission, vision and values, including Extreme Hospitality and intentional service!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Know all table numbers and seat positions.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Must have basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Must have average to above average knowledge regarding beer, wine and spirits.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
• Frequent use of hands and arms, and constitution to work in standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
