Job Description
The purpose of the role is to support the efficiency of the TechEx teams. The coordinator is uniquely placed to oversee the wider inputs and outputs that surround the break-fix support. The role has a direct positive impact, not just technical team efficiency and workflows, but also has a financial efficiency element through effective management of stock, E-waste, legal hold equipment, and workflow improvement activities.
The Technical Coordinator role will provide centralized services across the TechEx & Techline teams. The role will have a portfolio of business tied to a support vertical and may span across geographies. The role will be to report directly to the TechEx Manager but take day-to-day direction from their portfolio owner.
Core Responsibilities
- Review Onboarding/New Hire PC and Mobile device management. Identify opportunities to improve to process or close fulfillment gaps
- Review Terminations/Offboarding/Legal Hold – Identify opportunities to improve to process or close fulfillment gaps
- Review/ manage business owned computer assets with Local TechEx Managers streamlining inventory, redeployment, and life cycle/retirement.
- PC refresh eligibility Reporting and demand forecasting
- Equipment removal / E-Waste – Based on E-Waste and Stocking, liaise with TechEx team Managers and E-Waste Service provider to coordinate the removal of waste
- Reconcile Service Now Stock Rooms (including Asset Management Dashboard) with local TechEx Managers on a Monthly cadence (True-up) to ensure accuracy of asset count, adherence of staff to stock and CI categorization processes, and cost-efficient use of existing stock items.
- Business Funded Requests/Evaluation Oversight/Peripheral Procurement including, liaison between business and procurement team as required.
- Software Procurement, License Management/Transfers/Annual Renewals.
- Oversee ServiceNow TechEx team ticket Queue and team ticket dispatch
- Procurement processing and allocation tracking for projects and operational needs
- Work directly with vendors and Accounts Payable to resolve issues with unpaid invoices
- Partner with TechEx team Managers, Mobile & Telecoms team, Vendors, and internal Procurement teams. The objective is to ensure optimized ways of working both within the Coordination area and with the ‘on the ground’ teams' services customers
- Work with QA teams to pull, review, and rate analyst technical transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in business, computer science, information systems, information technology or other technical field, or appropriate work experience
- 5+ years of applicable experience in a media environment, preferably for a large company. Demonstrated success in the delivery of multiple projects.
- Proven track record in effectively organizing and directing multiple teams cross-functionally.
- Strong experience in executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Excellent project reporting skills with a focus on interdepartmental communication.
- Required onsite-5 days per week.
