Sr. IT Manager, Global Finance & Treasury Systems

Job Purpose
- Lead the Finance Systems areas in IT. Drive business value by deploying standard global solutions to Dana corporate entities, developing the organization, and establishing robust governance, maintenance, and support processes.
- Oversee the Business Analysts and PMs responsible for the development of business cases for new processes and systems, considering the costs, benefits, and risks of IT projects.
- Gather and review requirements and facilitate process development for IT systems supporting Finance processes.
- Partner with Finance leaders and function as liaison between them and the technical support teams by gathering functional requirements and conveying technical information to audiences of varying degrees of technical understanding.
- Ensure compliance with Dana standards and manage the risk of Enterprise Applications that support the Finance function.
- Maintain the technical integrity of Finance systems and the Interfaces between them and other Dana/Customer systems.
- Primary point for escalation for change and release management, configuration management, service level and contract management and production break fixes.
- Manages Finance solutions maintenance and support Service Level Agreements, Contracts and Providers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Finance systems areas for Dana IT globally.
- Influence Dana’s Finance Steering Committee and strategy definition.
- Define and align standards for Finance solutions. Deploy standard solutions globally.
- Establish governance processes to manage requirements and deliver projects.
- Maintain and support Finance solutions globally. Deliver high quality/availability systems.
- Manage vendors/partners in the Finance areas to deliver high quality services/solutions at competitive costs.
- Manage IT Finance budget. Develop forecasts and manage actuals.
- Work with IT and business leaders to create and maintain a 3-year road map for Finance Systems.
- Oversee all Finance IT projects ensuring timely and quality delivery, following Dana’s PMO methodology.
- Manages the Finance IT team. Develops the organization.
- Deliver solutions supporting the Corporate Finance Capabilities including but not limited to:
- Revenue accounting
- Accounts payable and expense management
- Treasury operations
- Fixed-asset project accounting
- Internal controls
- Planning and management accounting
- Corp taxes
- General accounting and reporting
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a related discipline, such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or Management Master’s degree in relevant discipline (or MBA) is highly preferred. Consulting background is a plus. PMP certification is a plus.
Experience
- 10 years’ experience in process improvement or information technology related to complex manufacturing industries (automotive preferred)
- 5 years in a management or IT leadership role.
- Experience in Finance and Treasury systems preferred.
- Experience in vendor management and team management.
- Experience designing and/or deploying IT applications, preferably in a corporate and manufacturing environment.
- Experience with one or more of the following systems is a plus: SAP ECC (FI-CO), HFM, Blackline, Kofax, Get Paid, Concur.
Language Skills
- English (fluency in reading, writing and speaking); other language skills helpful.
Certifications
- PMP, ITIL preferred.
