Overview
Sonova is seeking a Senior Strategic Program Manager to support projects within the area of Indirect spend. This role would suit someone who has a DO attitude, is organized and able to interact with senior stakeholders.
The Strategic Program Manager - Procurement will be instrumental in analyzing spend data to identify saving opportunities and executing strategies to realize these savings within the assigned Business Unit (BU). This individual will play a key role in incorporating global saving initiatives into the BU and leading the implementation of global category management strategies. The focus will be on projects related to enhancing efficiencies, generating savings, optimizing contractual payment terms, consolidating vendors, and more.
What you will do:
- Spend Analysis and Savings Generation: Conduct comprehensive spend analysis in collaboration with Procurement analytics team and Finance to identify potential savings opportunities within the BU. Develop and execute strategies to realize these savings.
- Global Initiatives Implementation: Act as a bridge to incorporate global saving initiatives into the business unit. Ensure alignment with global strategies and objectives.
- Category Management Strategy Execution: Drive the implementation of Procurement's global category management strategies within the business unit, focusing on achieving maximum efficiency and cost optimization.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to efficiencies, savings generation, contractual payment terms optimization, vendor consolidation, and other strategic procurement areas.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the successful execution of procurement strategies and initiatives. Facilitate communication and foster strong relationships across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of procurement strategies and processes. Recommend and implement improvements to drive further efficiencies and savings.
- Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the team:
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience preferable in Finance and/or Procurement
- Strong leadership skills and style; change management mindset with experience of driving change within a demanding timeframe
- Proven track record of delivering value and developing procurement capability in a complex, global business
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in project management
- Strategic mindset and ability to turn complex business problems into value creation
- Background experience with methods and procedures for conducting clinical trials
- Experience working in an audiological or hearing care setting.
