Job Title: Principal Software Engineer, Platform

Do you prefer working with a group of people who are driven to solve interesting problems at scale?  Are you looking for an engineering position servicing the needs of the customers and at the same time growing your skillsets?  Do you want to help build and support high scale production code in a multi-tenant SaaS Platform?  The Platform Services team is a tightly integrated team serving the foundational platform components…we architect, build, run, and support all the internal system and services that run Revenue lifecycle management cloud.

We are looking for a talented Principal Software Engineer to help us build next generation Conga Revenue Cloud Platform.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to use his or her expertise in development as a member of a dynamic team that designs, develops, tests, and maintains the Conga platform.  We want to hire unbelievably bright developers, who are a joy to work with, love to work with others, solve problems, listen well, and lead as appropriate.  We believe in using the best tools for the task at hand so the ability and desire to learn new programming languages and technologies is a must. Are you the person we’re looking for?  

Education.  Successful completion of a Bachelor of Computer Science, or an Engineering degree is highly preferred and 8+ years of experience in .NET and C# with the drive to learn and progress in the technical skill and nuanced art of development work within an Agile environment.

Take ownership.  To architect, build and scale Cloud agnostic platforms.

Build.  Code that is high-quality, clean, scalable, performant and reusable by enforcing software engineering best practices and back-end micro-services from scratch, working with containers and Kubernetes.

Participate.  In an agile team lifecycle, including design, development, testing, planning, backlog grooming and support.

Work with.  Product owners and architects to understand detailed requirements and own the code from design, development to test automation.

Perform.  As a trusted contributor demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines, exceed goals, and create benchmarks for success, you will require little to no supervision.

Development.  Demonstrated success executing development work within an Agile. Environment.

Exposure.  To cloud architecture, cloud design patterns, AWS/Azure cloud technologies.

Here’s what will give you an edge…
Experience.  Working with AWS/Azure cloud technologies; exposure to cloud architecture and cloud design patterns; and, last but not least, experience working with NoSQL DB’s and Elastic search.
