Job Description

Are you interested in advancing automated driving as part of a team of highly motivated software developers? Then join us to develop first-class software and system solutions for the future of automated driving (L3/L4).

Our goal is to enable drivers to take their hands off the steering wheel, relax, and let the vehicle take them to their destination safely.

You will be part of an agile team developing functions and algorithms which will be part of the next generation SW stack for automated driving features. In particular, you will contribute to the derivation of driving strategies and trajectories or related fields. You will play a crucial role within prototype design, software development, system tuning and validation.

Your main duties will be:

  • Derive requirements from system or subsystem level down to the module level
  • Conceive design concepts and create prototype algorithms to test them
  • Develop and test software in both embedded systems and software-in-the-loop environments while complying with automotive software development processes and quality standards
  • Communicate with stakeholders like safety experts, product, or feature owners in order to align requirements, concepts or designs
  • Iteratively develop, validate, and tune algorithms on large datasets with respect to quantitative KPIs
  • Work in an international environment, collaborate closely with internal and external development teams

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 
  • 3+ years of professional experience in SW development
  • Basic knowledge of driver assistance sensor technologies and functions
  • Good communication skills to discuss solutions with team and external stakeholders
  • Capable to work independently in an organized and structured fashion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in SW development in C++
  • 1+ year of experience in developing ADAS or AD functions
  • Experience in behavior planning, trajectory generation, and motion planning including AI approaches
  • Experience with automotive software engineering principles and processes along the V-Model:
    • Requirements engineering
    • Architecture & design
    • Implementation
    • Verification & validation
  • Experience with automotive development standards like ASPICE
  • Experience in software integration and software refactoring
  • Experience with software development tools and frameworks such as git, GoogleTest, CMake, or Bazel
  • Experience in SW development according to functional safety standards like ISO26262 or SOTIF
  • Experience in working in agile software development teams
