What you’ll be doing
As a Family Office Specialist, you’ll provide customized support to ultra-high-net-worth clients and their family offices. Your role is critical in delivering consolidated reporting, document management, and expense management solutions. Working closely with clients, their staff, CIBC relationship managers, and internal teams, you’ll ensure seamless implementation and ongoing service.
How you’ll succeed
Act as a key point of contact: Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day operations and escalations related to Family Office services.
Manage client relationships: Oversee a select portfolio of clientele, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.
Facilitate platform transitions: Lead client transitions to the SEI Archway platform, including the preparation and execution of client service agreements.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with SEI Archway teams, relationship managers, and advisors to meet client deliverables and build internal awareness of Family Office services.
Provide expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on Family Office offerings and deliver ongoing education to business partners.
Maintain service excellence: Monitor and address client needs while continuously improving processes to meet changing demands.
Who you are
Financially savvy: You hold a degree in accounting or finance and have 5–10 years of experience in investment performance, public accounting, or fund accounting.
Detail-oriented professional: Your expertise includes monthly/quarterly close processes, account reconciliations, journal entries, and expense reporting.
Technical expert: You’re experienced with accounting software (SEI Archway and First Rate preferred) and have a strong understanding of investment performance calculations (TWR, XIRR) and trust accounting.
Strong communicator: You excel in verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients, intermediaries, and colleagues at all levels.
Problem solver: You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and developing controls to prevent recurring issues.
Team player: You’re adaptable, effective in both independent and team environments, and can meet the evolving needs of clients and relationship managers.
Tech-savvy: Proficient in MS Office applications with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
