Position Summary
The Payments & Operations Coordinator provides timely customer service to all members and teammates through daily payment processing. Essential duties include coordination of information from various sources and the ability to navigate multiple systems to research and resolve issues, tasks, and responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.
- Scans, indexes, and verifies Credit Union documents to maintain accuracy and proper retention
- Regularly verifies documents stored off-site that have been imaged, logs the documents in the destruction log, and destroys the original document
- Accurately process daily mail to include deposits, loan payments, correspondence from outside vendors, outgoing payments & correspondence, and process return mail
- Management of plastic replenishments and audits
- Responsible for all document and card destruction in compliance with the Credit Union Record Retention Policy
- Assist with Foreign Collection and Return Deposit items
- Responds to member and teammate research requests
- Monitors various department email inboxes and phone loop
- Assists with the posting of incoming wires
- Assists teammates with questions, problems and requests concerning electronic documents and document retrieval
- Upholds credit union policies and procedures and champions organizational culture both internally and externally
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
