Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor:

Pay Range: 65k-80k

1st Shift: Mon-Thurs 6am-4pm, Fridays 6am-11am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Supervise Maintenance Department and crew
• Contract with and oversee external contractors
• Schedule and approve department work hours
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and MAC guidelines pertaining to safety, health, and environmental.
• Troubleshoot and repair MIG and TIG welding equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair various manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Develop and schedule routine and preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment and machinery
• Remodeling/repair of buildings and structures
• Direct maintenance programs which support, reinforce and supplements the plant safety programs
• Provide training; review work performance
• Research and provide estimates for maintenance repairs and projects
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed and with short or no notice

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years previous experience in a similar role preferred
• High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)
• Formal accredited skilled trade or technical training is a plus
• OSHA 10-Hour training; 30-Hour training a plus
• Experience using and/or maintaining fabrication and welding equipment
• Strong knowledge of welding and cutting preferred
• Electrical and mechanical controls experience; PLCs is a plus
• Building maintenance expertise
