Location: Dallas, TX (On-Site)
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Range: $80,000 – $100,000/year (DOE)
Employment Type: Permanent
Overview
Bluetape USA is seeking an experienced Field Manager to serve as the key bridge between technical operations, field staff leadership, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep residential repair expertise, strong estimating knowledge, and the ability to manage technicians while handling challenging homeowner situations professionally.
Field Managers represent Bluetape’s management team on-site, ensuring projects meet quality standards while maintaining excellent client relationships.
Responsibilities
Technical Operations
- Conduct on-site evaluations for new and existing projects
- Create accurate pricing for non-pricebook items and change orders
- Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians
- Serve as emergency technical support during peak capacity
- Assist with assigned work when primary responsibilities allow
Team Management
- Evaluate and train new field technicians
- Conduct monthly or quarterly technician performance check-ins
- Resolve disputes professionally and fairly
- Report major disputes to senior management
- Maintain a collaborative team environment
Customer Relations
- Meet with dissatisfied homeowners and address concerns
- Represent Bluetape’s management team professionally on-site
- Follow proper site protocol, including announcing presence
- Apply conflict resolution techniques with difficult customers
- Communicate scope boundaries and additional pricing clearly
Quality Assurance
- Ensure workspace setup and cleanup standards are followed
- Document progress with before-and-after photos
- Verify completed work meets Bluetape standards
- Train technicians on consistent quality expectations
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on residential repair experience
- Ownership of standard hand and power tools
- Must have an appropriate work vehicle (Truck or Van required)
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check
- Strong estimating knowledge
- Positive attitude
- Highly knowledgeable in most residential repairs with foreman-level expertise
