<p><strong><span><br/></span></strong></p> <p><strong><span>Our Values: Trust | Respect | Team spirit</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span>Our secret:</span></strong> Our people who make the difference with their integrity and competences!</p> <p><span><br/></span></p> <p><strong><span dir="ltr"><strong><span dir="ltr"><strong>Oracle Database Administrator</strong></span></strong></span> | Full-time contract | Athens - GR</strong><br/><br/></p> <p>Your daily work routine will include:</p> <ul><li>Build, configure, monitor, and maintain Oracle Databases;</li><li>Establish, implement and monitor database backups and recovery procedures;</li><li>Monitor database systems performance, identify bottlenecks and optimize the database for efficient operations, including query optimization, index tuning, and performance troubleshooting;</li><li>Produce and analyze database reports, suggest facts-based optimizations and fine-tune database settings for improving database performance and robustness;</li><li>Assess, troubleshoot, and resolve database related incidents triggered by monitoring or implement user requests, contributing to systems’ smooth operation and continuous improvement;</li><li>Analyze database growth patterns, estimate future storage requirements and plan for scalability including partitioning and clustering techniques to handle increasing data volumes;</li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain database security policies and procedures to guarantee a seamless and successful flow of activities;</li><li>Work closely with clients, system administrators, devOps, development teams, software architects and service managers, to comprehend, design, assess and analyze customer requests;</li><li>Provide technical experience and advice, evaluate technical feasibility and risk, focusing primarily on proper database operation and integrity but also efficiency and value/benefit. Suggest alternative solutions or approach when needed;</li><li>Identify and implement improvements for automating or simplifying database related activities and regular/common activities requested by customer;</li><li>Gather, organize, and maintain technical information and documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, including reports on database performance, security, and maintenance activities;</li><li>Contribute to the team’s Knowledge Management process by developing knowledge articles that can help in team’s daily operations, understanding, as well as the onboarding of new members;</li><li>Define, coordinate, and optimize the delivery of DB services by effectively applying the IT service management procedures;</li><li>Ensure services are delivered in accordance with the service descriptions and defined service levels;</li><li>Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation in support of production database-related issues.</li></ul> <ul> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology with one year in a relevant position;</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in Databases Administration;</li><li>Very good knowledge of Oracle Databases;</li><li>Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques;</li><li>Experience in Oracle Data Guard, database design, schemas, and documentation;</li><li>Good knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring requirements;</li><li>Familiarity with MySQL, Postgres;</li><li>SQL DDL, DML, and TSQL coding skills will be preferable;</li><li>Experience with Monitoring tools;</li><li>Experience using cloud-based hosting solutions;</li><li>Advantageous Qualifications: ORACLE certifications, ITIL certification;</li><li>Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies;</li><li>Technical documentation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills;</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 or higher);</li><li>Good team spirit and accountable for working in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment;</li><li>Fulfilled military obligations.</li></ul> <p><strong><br/></strong></p> <p><strong>What is in it for you?</strong></p> <ul><li>A permanent contract with a compensation package that includes private medical insurance, meal vouchers, mobile plan, etc.</li><li>Learning opportunities, in-house trainings, continuous coaching.</li><li>Fun, respectful and supportive work environment that promotes work-life balance.</li><li>Mobility opportunities to work abroad, in case of interest, as we have various job openings in our Group.</li></ul> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Why Trasys Greece?</strong></p> <ul><li>Strong team spirit attitude.</li><li>Dynamic, intelligent, agile and talented teams.</li><li>Large-scale challenging international projects.</li><li>Allows you to take the ownership of your work from the beginning, having specific responsibilities.</li><li>Active and meaningfully present
