Medical Assistant

Description

We are a sport and family medical center. WE are looking for a dynamic individual to provide outstanding medical care for our patients. Experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right person. The position involves front and back office responsibilities including:

• Scheduling appointments
• Answering and responding to patient calls
• Working with our electronic medical record (Athena Health)
• Rooming patients, taking history and vitals, performing office procedures
• Providing outstanding care for our patients

Qualifications:

• Great customer service and interpersonal skills
• Understand medical terminology
• Be able to exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Work efficiently on computer

Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certificate desired
• Experience a plus but not necessary

Compensation will be based on experience 

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$18.00-$24.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*

*Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The patey scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
