Job Description
Position Overview
As a Veterinary Sales Associate, you will establish and nurture relationships with veterinary practices, foster strong client rapport, and ensure consistent support and visibility. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for experienced vet techs or practice managers eager to influence pet healthcare on a larger scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain new and existing relationships within veterinary practices.
- Cultivate strong client relationships by providing consistent support and visibility.
- Serve as an influential communicator, inspiring positive changes in veterinary practices.
- Advocate passionately for uncompromised medical care for dogs and cats.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of veterinary practice dynamics
- Conduct persuasive presentations to hospital leadership and staff.
- Deliver courteous, efficient, and professional service to customers.
- Collaborate effectively both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and entrepreneurial drive, characterized by persistence and patience.
- Exhibit outstanding communication and active listening skills, maintaining a professional appearance.
Additional Requirements
- Must acquire a Property & Casualty Insurance License before the hire date. This process includes a 40-hour self-paced online training program and passing the Georgia P&C exam.
- Reside in NW Atlanta/Georgia, in the area of Cartersville, Woodstock, Kennesaw, etc.
- Complete a 1-week highly interactive virtual training, then other trainings as needed.
- Occasionally work weekends for local veterinary conferences or events
Compensation
The compensation package includes a base salary, uncapped bonus, expense reimbursement, paid leave & holidays, and vehicle stipend. As the business scales, so does the earning potential.
Qualifications
- Experience in a veterinary hospital environment with a minimum of (5) five years.
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong passion for ensuring pets receive uncompromised medical care.
- Confidence in public speaking and presenting.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel and visit hospitals five days a week, with some administrative work from a home office.
- Prior experience in field sales, cold calling, and business development is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Dynamics CRM, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
