What You Will Do:

As a Team Lead, under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties to the third-party recovery function of the Managed Services Organization.  Such duties may include, but not limited to, the following: 

• Assists Third Party Supervisor/Manager/Director in coordinating all activities related to the Third Party; Communicate issues to management in a timely manner. 

• Facilitate Team meetings; Respond to emails timely; collaborate with other department leaders.

• Processes daily Paper Claims work files; analyze reports; work escalations.

• Reviews & help with the work of Third-Party Representatives, provide training and feedback to reps, process QA reviews.

• Assisting in the implementation of current and new standards and guidelines; Routinely assists employees in the area to help ensure performance goals are met and answers Reps questions whenever possible.

• Performs other duties as requested by supervisor/manager.  

• Perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma

• 8 plus years of prior relevant experience in Revenue Cyle and/or Physician Billing

• General knowledge of payer specific or medical specialty billing

• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Entry level management experience a plus.

This position is onsite in Birmingham, AL.
