What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analytics and Compliance Senior Consultant to join the Defense and Security Segment (D&S) Defense & Intelligence (D&I) Practice Area. The candidate will support a D&I team dedicated to advancing the mission of a Defense program & policy office.  

The Data Analytics & Compliance Senior Consultant will regularly interact with senior government officials & staff, and will be engaged in a diverse set of data analysis efforts and tasks related to regulatory compliance.  The Senior Consultant will lead the development of deliverables and analytical products supporting senior decision makers. The Senior Consultant is expected to have experience managing workstreams, advising clients, and creating effective reports and presentations for the client and internal executives.

Typical duties include:

• Leading teams that conduct institutional compliance assessments and provide feedback to facilitate remediation of findings

• Conduct analysis on results data to inform decision making

• Providing communications support with consistent messaging and compliance with government standards

• Providing program management support to uphold cost, schedule, and quality standards

• Support government outreach efforts to create and promote partnerships with educational institutions

What You Will Need:

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

• Bachelor's Degree

• FOUR (4) years of professional experience including TWO (2) years of experience in data analytics and/or policy compliance

• Ability to work onsite up to 3 days per week at client location(s) in the DMV

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD Security clearance

• Experience focused on data analytics.

• Experience consulting for government clients, particularly for Department of Defense (DoD) clients.

• Experience with Data Analytics tools, especially PowerBI

• Ability to lead small teams

• Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships.

• Ability to assume ownership of significant portions of tasks while collaborating with a close-knit team.

• Ability to use flexible approaches for the identification of client challenges and solutions.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. 

• Ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
