Job Description

This onsite internship will work close to the manufacturing facilities creating and support implementing continues improvement projects that will impact the business and operation indicators. This position will learn and develop the training plan and material for a manufacturing area together with the training coordinator, Bosch production system area and the manufacturing engineer.

What can be measured can be improved; the creation, standardization and follow up of indicators for the North America facilities will support the continues improvement activities to achieve the business goals. 

  • Generate and publish the indicators required to improvement production processes.
  • Coordination of North America Bosch Production System (DCNA/BPS) competency assessment for each location, developing the strategy and support each location developing their own. Follow up on the defined actions ensuring strategy is fulfilled.
  • Development of training material for Bosch Production System elements for direct and indirect personnel using the TWI methodology.
  • Definition and follow up of facility site projects which support the continues improvement of the business indicators
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • In process of Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, industrial Engineering, or related degree.
  • Desirable course work and willing to support knowledge in Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and / or Technical Functions (Ex problem solving, lean manufacturing,  etc)
  • Academic project management experience, desirable knowledge of dashboards such as PowerBI.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, and Word
  • Customer oriented and team working
