In addition to the energy sector, you can explore opportunities in other industries where Segula is highly active, such as automotive, aerospace, and rail.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are actively looking for a <strong>HSE Assistant</strong> who will join our team in supporting an important client operating in the Energy sector.</p><p>Main tasks include:</p><ul><li>Develop health, safety and environmental processes, procedures and guidelines on the construction site, including identifying risks and training employees on how to handle hazardous materials or situations</li><li>Ensure all safety equipment is in good condition and available for use by all employees</li><li>Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and create plans to eliminate them</li><li>Developing emergency response plans for natural disasters, fire risks, chemical spills, etc.</li><li>Maintain accident and injury logs to track trends and improve safety measures</li><li>Create and enforce occupational health and safety standards in compliance with federal, state and international regulations</li><li>Monitoring the work environment to ensure it is safe for employees to work</li><li>Conduct accident investigations when accidents occur to determine causes</li><li>Establish emergency preparedness plans to ensure the company can continue operations in the event of an emergency</li><li>Support the HSE Manager with all safety and environmental matters.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Master's Degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Hygiene or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with specialization training in safety, environment and health or environmental sciences.</li><li>Differential degrees or specializations may be considered if the content of the study courses is equivalent.</li><li>Construction site experience is required</li><li>Previous experience in the role and knowledge of industry standards/guidelines</li><li>Fluent English and Italian </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><em>At SEGULA Technologies, diversity, fairness and inclusion are at the heart of our HR policy.
