• Performs routine equipment preventative maintenance work instructions inspections and cleaning on all production equipment as identified per schedule to mitigate major damage.
• Execute minor adjustments, lubrications, mechanical drive maintenance, hydraulic filters and process cleaning systems.
• Inspects, maintain correct fluid levels on machines by checking the pneumatic lines, oil and water line, and others and ensure leak free systems.
• Maintains the process water system conditions using testing equipment, accurate readings of water meters, process water make up, filter cleanliness and water purification system in a timely manner.
• Inspects compressed air system for leaks using ultra sonic testing equipment and make repairs to maximize efficiency of delivery system. 
• Completes maintenance records such as labor, materials and equipment PM history and work orders posting accurate time and completing of the work order.

• Performs basic carpentry, plumbing and other installs or adjustments. May included hanging items, painting walls, installing shelving or other items in the facility.
• Fully engaged in the 6S, lean, and tier management for organization.
• Cleans personal and job site areas daily.
• Returns tools to proper locations as part of lean.
• All parts used, work performed and other paperwork properly completed and documented.
• Participates in contributing and completion of continuous improvement suggestion, A3, Kaizen Events and projects for improvement.
• Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education, Experience and Knowledge:

• Requires a high school diploma or higher
• Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience in an industrial environment maintenance position.
• Must have the Technical Skills required for this position.
• Must be self-starter and work under minimal supervision.
• Execute verbal and written technical instructions.
• Good working knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical and electronics, basic plumbing.
• Good working knowledge of shop tools (Mills, Lathes, Grinders, Welders, etc.)
• Ability to use simple writing and basic mathematics.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: 

• MN Special Engineers License (Apple Valley)
• MN 2-C License (Hutchinson location only)
• Minnesota Registered Unlicensed Maintenance Electrician
• Valid driver’s license.
