Responsibilities:
- 1. Security Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive security strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigative measures.
- Plan and oversee the implementation of security infrastructure and systems.
- 2. Security Operations Management
- Monitor daily security operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Oversee access control, surveillance systems, and incident response protocols.
- Coordinate and manage contracted security personnel or internal security teams.
- 3. Incident and Crisis Management
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and emergencies.
- Investigate security breaches and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and conduct regular emergency drills and training programs.
- 4. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to security and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and compliance audits.
- 5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments to align security protocols with organizational objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for law enforcement, emergency responders, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide security briefings and updates to senior leadership.
- 6. Budget and Resource Management
- Prepare and manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Evaluate and procure security equipment, technology, and services.
