The opportunity


This position will fulfill the responsibilities of a Subject Matter Resource (SMR), entrusted with executing the Digital Solution Enablement across their functional areas of expertise The role will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery from System development and configuration through to testing and implementation partnering with the Solution Design, Data and Data Governance  and Transition function. As part of this role, the consultant would manage all functional operations activities and is involved in quality testing, issues and defect management, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Project management, scope definition, objectives and the involvement of all the relevant stakeholders and project sponsors would also be under the consultant’s purview – in order to successfully deliver and support high quality, proactive digital solutions. This role will be for a 3-4 month contract.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Support the configuration, development, testing and implementation of SuccessFactors Talent systems to deliver functional and process efficiencies aligned to the Digital Talent Roadmaps for the functions in your portfolio.
  • EY has implemented full suite of SuccessFactors modules.  Knowledge of platform and multiple modules would be ideal, including Compensation and Core HR.
  • Knowledge of RPA (Robotic Process Automate) of business process a plus
  • Deliver high quality lifecycle management of all Talent systems of changes through to production (inclusive of cloud-based systems) to include identification, development, configuration, testing and deployment of new functionalities across all talent vendor platforms. E.g. SuccessFactors and IBM Watson releases
  • Supports cross functional platform related system administration activities covering system access, information security, data maintenance, release management and other system related activities as they apply to the ongoing management of our production systems.
  • Follow strict governance path around the migration of code to production and the subsequent update to non production environments.
  • Work closely with the Solution Enablement lead and Talent IT product support operations transition manager for a successful transition from development to business as usual (BAU) considering all relevant processes and procedures including testing, hypercare and correct documentation
  • Collaborate and work across all Digital Talent, Talent IT, Talent and vendor teams to deliver solutions to enable the employee experience and drive long term value
  • Monitors and measures the effectiveness of the adoption and continued use of Talent systems across all functions and recommends/implements changes as required Monitor external best practices and internal feedback to identify and propose opportunities, and support the functional lead in the feasibility analysis for the enhancement of existing practices, models and processes.


Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities

 

  • Provide expertise and knowledge in how solution enablement operates. Understand the digital landscape in-tandem with the Talent and organization strategy, people and operational matters and make decisions to drive and optimize functional delivery standards.
  • For allocated processes support and implement decisions for defining, delivering and continuously improving the process.
  • Leverage and review data and information to monitor functional enablement performance against agreed metrics. (e.g., cost / headcount / efficiency of service delivery)
  • Share market insights and review findings with key stakeholders/networks influencing change as required.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Bring deep knowledge of the enablement operating model, and organization design and ways of working across the digital talent eco-system
