About Our Advisory Finance Services – Risk & Regulatory team

At PwC Ireland, our Financial Services Advisory practice works with leading organisations across retail banking, international banking, insurance, asset and wealth management, and payment services. We help clients build resilient, compliant, and forward-looking businesses which are set up for regulatory compliance

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of collaborative and solution-focused Regulation and Risk experts who support clients to build strong risk and regulatory frameworks, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will contribute to projects that make a real difference projects that shape the future of our clients’ businesses, supporting them in designing and enhancing their frameworks to meet evolving regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing or enhancing Compliance and Risk Frameworks, including policies and procedures to support our client’s regulatory agenda
• Partnering and guiding our clients on their strategic initiatives linked to existing and new regulation, such as large-scale remediation & transformation projects
• Interpretation and implementation of upcoming regulations
• Review client documentation relative to our client’s regulatory environment
• Support and guide our clients throughout the market entry authorisation process
• Supporting the team’s business development and thought leadership initiatives

Experiences and skills

• Degree qualified - recognised compliance qualification, a distinct advantage

• 3 years’ industry or consulting experience in a Compliance environment

• Strong understanding of the Irish regulatory landscape for example, AML and various Conduct regulations including CPC, SME, CCMA, GDPR, F&P, MiFID etc.

• A curious and analytical mind-set and the ability to draw insights from data for decision-making and value business outcomes

• Strong communication and report writing skills.

• A keen eye for detail with a focus on delivering excellence

• Recognised project management qualifications, a distinct advantage

• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
