Usually, though not always, these result in synthetic aperture RADAR (SAR) images. We are looking for more world-class engineers to join the company and help us to develop new and better ways to gather images and intelligence.</p><h3></h3><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for conceiving and leading globally unique signal processing technologies that leverage the ICEYE fleet of RADARs and SIGNALS collection satellites. Whilst primarily being an engineer, responsible for your own engineering projects, you will also be responsible for coordinating and leading a small team of engineers to solve complex problems. You will report to ICEYE’s director of SAR Engineering and will be required to work across a range of other teams including Orbit and Attitude Control, FPGA and electronics, Radio and flight software. Your output will bring new collection capabilities and products into operations and support Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance operations both within ICEYE and supporting customers and product managers.</p><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>What you will need to be successful in this role:</strong></p><ul> <li>Background in physics or electronic engineering</li> <li>A detailed understanding of Synthetic Aperture RADAR Signal processing - should have written at least one SAR image formation processor in their career. </li> <li>Ability to quickly prototype new signal processing techniques and ideas using higher level languages such a Python.</li> <li>Ability to convert concepts and ideas into low level production quality code that can operate in our servers.
