Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Business Applications Director, who will frame, design and drive our ambitious roadmap to bring the IS landscape to new heights. This role is critical in ensuring that our business applications not only meet current organizational needs but also anticipate future requirements, driving the company toward greater efficiency and ultimately improving customers satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
As Business Application Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of business applications within the organization. This role ensures that business applications align with the company's goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support business processes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the strategic plan for business applications, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage groups of application developers, analysts, and administrators to ensure a delivery success rate of 95% for project completion and service delivery.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term program related to business applications, such as the setup of a state-of-the-art ERP for Finance, currently powered by Netsuite, review the integration of our HRIS, based on SAP SuccessFactors, or integration of our M&A acquisitions in our IS landscape.
Performance is key and our projects must be managed with a budget variance of no more than 10%. - Business Partnership: Work closely with Product, Tech and department heads and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that business applications support their goals.
- Be a change actor in the streamline of our processes and data flows (Lead-To-Cash, Procure-To-Pay, Record-To-Report, Hire-To-Retire): ensure seamless integration and data modeling to optimize business processes and realize a 15% improvement in processing time for key workflows within one year. Achieve customer satisfaction while considering scalability, performance, and UX/UI.
- Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in business applications to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in Business Applications, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple business applications.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing large-scale business application projects, with at least a successful deployment of a global ERP (Core Model) and a significant M&A integration.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and how business applications can enhance business performance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in business applications software in various domains such as ERP systems, CRM, marketing, HR, and more.
A successful experience deploying NetSuite or SAP SF would be a great plus. - Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a multicultural team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Vendor Management: Experience in negotiating and managing vendor contracts and relationships.
