Software Engineer - Expert - VR36424

This position supports the development and indexes to aid in the ingestion and management of a large volume of data.

Requirements

• Must possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Federal Polygraph
• Demonstrated minimum five years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying Java code to a production environment (from scratch, i.e. not just tweaking existing code, O&M, etc.)
• Demonstrated minimum three years of hands-on experience using Solr
• Demonstrated minimum two years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying big data solutions to a production environment - prefer experience with ALL listed below:
• Hadoop or Spark
• Hbase
• Demonstrating at least two years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud-based solutions (applicant should list cloud technologies used)
• These experiences can be in conjunction with the big data and java experience requirements listed above
• Demonstrated experience (and willingness) to undergo the pull request process where every technical task/code deliverable undergoes nearly full code coverage (i.e. unit testing) and a peer review before deployment to a non-production environment
