FREELANCE REMOTE LINGUISTIC REVIEWER AND QA - ARABIC (Egypt/ Gulf/ Levantine)

DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for a freelance Arabic Linguistic Reviewers and QA, to be part of an innovative project related to Artificial Intelligence.

Task description:

As Linguistic Reviewer and QA you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing text submitted by content creation applicants to validate their writing ability.

• Listening and evaluating short audio samples to confirm the accent matches the target variant.

• Quality evaluation of delivered data to make sure the data adheres to project specific guidelines.

Requirements

Job requirements:

• Idiomatic fluency in one of the following Arabic dialects: 

          - Arabic (Egypt)

          - Arabic (Gulf) 

          - Levantine Arabic

• Knowledge of MSA Arabic is desired

• Be located in the country of the required locales:
  

             - Egypt for Arabic (Egypt)

             - Iraq, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait or Oman for Arabic (Gulf)

             - Lebanon or Jordan for Levantine Arabic

• Background in linguistics or a degree in Linguistics, Translation or similar is preferred

• Strong attention to detail

• Great listening skills

• Availability to work min. 20 hours/ week for 6 weeks

• Reliable internet connection
