Job Description

  • Conduct internal assessments in all critical business processes to ensure that the quality management system meets the intent of Corporate Quality Manual, customer expectations, and external management system standards
  • Partner with Western Digital Corporate Quality System teams to achieve and maintain certification of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
  • Assist departments and process owners in the development and improvement the quality management system
  • Lead and participate in multiple projects simultaneously
  • Report upon system-level noncompliance, which could have an actual or potential impact on the quality of processes, products, or services
  • Assist functional representatives in establishing an effective action plan that corrects problems and helps to prevent recurrence
  • Work with functional representatives to clarify requirements and provide expertise on quality management system topics
  • Interface with site management during corporate assessments at other sites
  • Work closely with the IATF/ISO Registrar, customer representatives, and/or auditors
  • Share quality-related information with suppliers, customers and other organizations on an as needed basis and promote the awareness of quality policies, objectives, tools, and concepts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least years of experience in ISO, IATF, or other auditing experience, semiconductor manufacturing quality systems and manufacturing operations is strongly preferred
