Spacecraft Schedule and Deliverables Coordinator (Contract, Part-Time)

Our success will depend on your energy, skill, and creativity.        We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Spacecraft Schedule and Deliverables Coordinator to help keep our mission on track—literally. In this role, you’ll own the spacecraft program schedule from concept through launch, working across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure every milestone and deliverable stays visible, connected, and achievable. You’ll help translate big-picture mission goals into a clear, data-driven schedule that the whole team can rally behind.  Responsibilities    

• Build, maintain, and continuously update the integrated spacecraft schedule, capturing key milestones, subsystem deliverables, and dependencies. 
• Work directly with subsystem leads to collect progress updates, flag risks early, and coordinate recovery actions when timelines shift. 
• Track hardware, documentation, and data deliverables to ensure readiness for integration, testing, and launch operations. 
• Visualize and communicate schedule status through dashboards, Gantt charts, and weekly reports for leadership and stakeholders. 
• Support cross-team coordination, ensuring all groups are aligned on upcoming tasks, reviews, and handoffs. 
• Identify critical path activities and help prioritize resources to keep the mission on schedule. 
• Drive continuous improvement in schedule management processes, tools, and reporting formats. 

 Qualifications    

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). 
• 3+ years of experience managing schedules or deliverables for complex hardware or aerospace projects. 
• Proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent). 
• Strong understanding of spacecraft development phases—from design through integration and test. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across engineering disciplines. 
• A detail-oriented mindset and a passion for turning chaos into clarity. 

  Contract Type and Schedule 

• Contract role: Through June 30, 2028, subject to annual renewal based on project needs. 
• Part-time: Approximately 20–30 hours per week  
• Potential for full-time employment: While this is a temporary contract position, there may be an opportunity for conversion to full-time employment based on business needs and individual performance. 

Pay Rate The hourly rate for this position is $34-70/hr. When determining an individual’s compensation, we consider several factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data, so pay for this role may vary from the amounts listed.    Legal Eligibility to Work Due to U.S. export control regulations, this position is only open to “U.S. persons.” That means you must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or have refugee/asylee status.
