The video production team is primarily focused on Educational content but provides video, photography, audio, and motion graphics support across all departments at MongoDB. This includes instructional/training videos, promotional marketing content, customer testimonials/stories, event photography and video recaps, employee brand/recruiting videos, employee headshots, presentation recording/editing, and much more. We are looking for a videographer/editor who can create content from inception to delivery.
This role will be based in our New York City office.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and edit educational content in Adobe Premiere with the help of pre-built mogrts and After Effects projects
- Assist in all aspects of production including lighting, audio recording, shooting, editing and color correction
- Set up production studios, lighting, and equipment for video and photo shoots
- Create a wide variety of digital content, including motion graphics and photography
- Take photos and shoot b-roll of events, products, offices, employees, and customers
- Collaborate with a variety of cross functional teams, from Curriculum Engineers to Field Marketing to Sales to Employee Brand
- Stay up to date with new technology trends (equipment and software) and the creative process to maximize efficiency and digital content output
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in video production and photography
- A portfolio/reel showcasing strong video production skills
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere, knowledge of After Effects
- Professional experience with industry-standard cameras (Sony, Canon, etc.)
- Experience with professional lighting setup
- Must be able to transport and operate large/bulky video production equipment
- Must be able to manage multiple concurrent production tasks
This position may require travel 25% of the time.
A demo reel/portfolio is required for consideration (your role for each project must be specified).
