Software Integration Engineer 2

The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of various operational Kubernetes deployed services such as GitLab and JFrog’s Artifactory as part of the CLEVERCHEMIST team supporting CASA. 
Provides expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment. 

Capabilities

• Ability to integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software
• Generate documentation for the full software stack
• Update software for sustainment support
• Basic Linux system administration skills and shell scripting
• Execute test codes for characterization of software performance

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment
OR
• The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment

Required Technical Skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI
• Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
• Experience performing Linux System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS products, packages, and libraries
• Experience using Git for source control of system configurations
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines/workflows
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker

Desired Skills

• Experience installing, configuring, and managing JFrog Artifactory
• Experience installing, configuring, and managing package registry COTS products such as Sonatype Nexus, PyPi, GitLab, etc
• Understanding of software packaging frameworks (maven, pypi, npm, etc.) and their associated artifacts
• Experience with Cloud services associated with AWS and Kubernetes
