To learn more about Pearce visit <a href="http://www.pearce-services.com">http://www.pearce-services.com</a>.</p></div><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p> <p>As a Lead Solar Field Service Technician (Utility-Scale / PV Repair), you’ll work on large, utility-scale solar farms—not residential or rooftop systems. You’ll handle troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of ground-mount solar systems, central/string inverters, and power plant equipment, while leading a small field crew (4+ techs). You’re responsible for making sure work is done safely, correctly, and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with real experience on utility-scale solar sites (megawatt-scale projects).</p> <p>This is a 100% travel position.</p> <p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot and repair utility-scale solar systems, including inverters, combiner boxes, and string circuits</li> <li>Perform testing: LOTO, IV curve tracing, megger/insulation testing, IR scans</li> <li>Lead and direct 2+ field technicians on active solar farm sites</li> <li>Assign work, track progress, and keep jobs on schedule</li> <li>Perform operations and maintenance (O&amp;M) on utility-scale solar plants</li> <li>Inspect completed work and ensure it meets quality and safety standards</li> <li>Enforce safety requirements (OSHA, NFPA 70E) on-site</li> <li>Diagnose system issues and resolve them in the field</li> <li>Complete work orders, service logs, and required documentation</li> <li>Operate and maintain company vehicle and tools</li> <li>Train and support junior technicians in the field</li> </ul> <p><strong>Core Experience (Utility-Scale Required)</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of utility-scale solar experience (solar farms / ground-mount systems)</li> <li>Experience leading cr
