This position leads a large team of experienced Materials Associates focused on material handling, movements (physical / digital), and execution for the Fire Protection systems business. Reports into the materials group which also manages the logistics functions of Stockroom and Planning.

What You Will Do:

  • Leads cell transformation activities.

  • Ensures 100% auditable integrity of the cell.

  • Supervise a Stockroom Department of 25 employees.

  • Administer performance reviews and discipline for direct reports.

  • Improves turnaround time in cell to ensure the business attains high OTD.

  • Escalate situations where needed to appropriate manager and department.

  • Review’s configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment.

  • Drives improvement and assist with any technical issues that the team needs assistance with.

  • Ensures fast turnaround time, proper expediting of hot items, internal customer communication.

  • Holds staff accountable to following our thorough processes to ensure compliance to our policies and eliminate escalations.

  • Enhances process thoroughness and standard work to eliminate missing hardware, improve productivity of employees and accuracy of tasks.

  • Building and maintaining sound processes for strong cell integrity, troubleshooting, and breaking down cell issues, and maintaining and owning many reporting tools. (ex. Tier Board)

  • Customer and/or third party audit experience
