Software Developer Intern

Software Developer InternThe Consumers Credit Union team is looking to hire a passionate Software Developer Intern. In this role, you are responsible for supporting application development. The applicant will need to be bright, imaginative and a capable technologist specifically seeking a smaller environment where their potential will be maximized through the challenging projects that increase productivity and efficiency. This internship is a twelve week program located out of our corporate office in Kalamazoo, beginning in early June. What you'll be doing: 

• Assists with the development of new features with Online Banking
• Work with Product Manager, other software developers and users to determine needs and development requirements
• Design, develop, implement and test software solutions
• Create software that integrates with other software systems
• Recording work/project progress on a weekly basis
• Documentation of processes and solutions created
• Develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, pricing and processes by monitoring trends in existing systems

 What you'll bring to the table:

• Progress in college degree with computer science focus or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build web-based applications: including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support
• Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly with business users, product managers and other software developers.
• Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive user interfaces
• Ability to construct user guides and documentation
• Project management skills preferred
• Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET preferred
• Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, Angular, VBScript, HTML, XML, JSON preferred
