Riverside Research is seeking a proven, experienced, Business Development Professional to drive pipeline growth and pursue new business opportunities. This position is responsible for capture to pursue strategic new business opportunities within the Intelligence Community, with particular focus on the NRO and NGA. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in managing complex capture projects throughout the entire Federal Acquisition lifecycle from identification to award. Demonstrated experience identifying, shaping and developing capture plans to successfully pursuing large-scale complex Federal Government business/projects is a fundamental requirement. The candidate will be primarily responsible for new business growth; responsible for new business opportunity qualification, competitive positioning and capture.

Position is out of the Centerville, VA Office.

Job Description:

  • Lead engagement with NGA and NRO customers to understand mission needs and government priorities in advance of Riverside relevant opportunities
  • Work directly with Riverside technical teams to architect, shape and articulate highly technical solutions ideally suited to customer mission needs
  • Identify gaps and emerging requirements as related to Riverside Research customers and markets
  • Build and execute formal capture plans for large, complex and multidisciplinary opportunities
  • Perform competitive analysis for current and future acquisitions to guide capture priorities, business development resource allocation and technical focus
  • Maintain customer intelligence to help understand, shape, pursue and win new business
  • Developing teaming and partnership opportunities to strengthen large Riverside pursuits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 25+ years of related experience
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • 15+ years’ experience with NRO or NGA programs
  • Deep understanding of GEOINT mission, tools and current acquisition pipelines
  • Specific experience and demonstrated capture success with GEOINT focused web enabled services
  • Existing long standing NGA and NRO government relationships
  • Extensive knowledge, experience, and success in all phases of the business development, capture and proposal lifecycle in the Defense and Intelligence market
  • Demonstrated track record of leading capture and winning >$50M opportunities
  • Management and execution of full life-cycle capture management for multiple pursuits and proposals
  • Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions
