As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a financial institution location. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and interact professionally with visitors and staff to provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols within the financial institution location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and information when required.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
