This role requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability, including the ability to travel extensively across the country on short notice, sometimes for multiple weeks at a time. As a front-line culture ambassador, you will play a critical role in integrating new teams into the organization, ensuring alignment with our core values and standards from day one. The position involves leading comprehensive onboarding processes for new clients, often across multiple custodians, requiring a strong understanding of operational workflows and client service protocols. Success in this role demands exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to relationship building, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.

 

Cresset is seeking an Associate Director, Private Wealth Client Services with 5+ years of experience managing the administrative and operational needs for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clientele. The candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for clients and collaborate with a portfolio manager to build strong relationships and to drive retention and growth by providing a superior experience.

                                                                                                                                                                                         

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships on multi-custodial platforms
  • Serve as a primary lead for client onboarding, investment implementation, and private banking services
  • Create and implement customized onboarding experience for high net-worth clients
  • Transfer and reconcile assets from contra firms
  • Implement new investment strategies and hire managers as directed by advisor
  • Prepare client subscription and redemption documents related to alternative investments
  • Manage client billing (assign attributes, start/end dates, raising cash)
  • Assist with client inquiries regarding inflow and outflows
  • Establish lines of credit/margin
  • Establish 529 accounts
  • Manage client donor advised/charitable distributions
  • Attend quarterly client portfolio review meetings as needed (FO)
